The CORE 32 series is offered in both 60 and 90 minute options
The CORE 32 series uses Bikram Choudhury's 26 posture hot yoga series as a foundation. We have made some changes that improve it by introducing more postures that work the upper body. Small changes can have big results.
core FUSION - CORE 32+Yin
This is the CORE 32/60 minute class with an additional 15 minutes of YIN yoga at the end making it a 75 minute class.
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures or asanas that are held for longer periods of time—five minutes or longer per pose is typical. It originates in China and was first taught in North America in the late 1970s.
Yin Yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. Yin Yoga poses are also designed to improve the flow of qi, the subtle energy said in Chinese medicine to run through the meridian pathways of the body. Improved flow of qi is hypothesized to improve organ health, immunity, and emotional well-being. Yin Yoga as taught by Paul Grilley and Sarah Powers is not intended as a complete practice in itself, but rather as a complementary practice to balance the effects of more active forms of yoga and exercise.
Our hot VINYASA flow class is a 60 min class which accommodates all levels. Vinyasa means synchronizing breath with movement through a series of yoga poses including Upward Dog and Downward Dog, also called Sun Salutations. After moving through a series of vinyasas, the class will go into standing postures and then flow into seated poses. Our hot VINYASA flow class is a perfect accompaniment to your CORE 32 Hot Yoga practice. This class builds upper body strength, flexibility of the muscles and stamina.
silent CORE 32/60
Silent classes are an opportunity to turn 100% of your attention inwards, letting your wisdom and knowledge lead you into your practice. It's a very meditative practice, connecting you to how yoga was traditionally practiced. Your teacher will guide you through your practice and lead you on timing....and don't worry you will hear your teacher's voice within supporting your body through the movements.
Hot Pilates is a high intensity interval training workout using pilates principles. It is low impact so it’s a safe practice for all fitness levels. Hot pilates creates long lean muscle mass while we combine cardio and muscle toning. We do this in a heated room to warm your body up faster, make it more challenging, get your heart rate up and to help you burn more fat. This is a challenging workout, but you will feel AMAZING! You will see results quick with this class if you are practicing regularly, it gets you in shape and keeps you in shape. You will work on developing your core in this class which is so good in your everyday life, from picking up your kids, carrying your groceries and having a better posture. You will work your whole body in this 60 min class. Be prepared to sweat, have fun and build a stronger you!
